Annecy enjoys a geographical situation of exception between mountains and lake. A few kilometers away from Switzerland and from Italy, this cross-border and attractive city presents numerous economic advantages. Very appreciated, It faces a housing shortage and in a high land tax influencing widely the cost of living. In 50 years the existing housing became inaccessible for the first-time homeowners and the middle classes. It is in this context that take a seat our two sites of projects, situated in a residential area ideally located in 10 mins of the lake and the city center. The first site is the one horticultural municipal greenhouses, moved in 2017 in outskirts of the city. This relocation allows to free 2ha from land, real potential of densification for the municipality which launched a program of construction of 130 new housing. The second site is the plot of Contamines compound of 60s buildings to rehabilitate.
Densification and rehabilitation of a residential area in Annecy through a sustainable thought for the arrangement of the city of tomorrow.
