Mixed project of housing and offices Licence 3 Studio Masséna
This exercise is a mixed project of offices and social housing in the intersection of Tolbiac and Chevaleret streets, located in the 13th district of Paris.
Chevaleret street symbolizes the border between the 13th traditional and 13th Paris Rive gauche. Contextualized architecture, the buildings take the sizes of the existing buildings and get organized according to the principle of the open island ; the characteristic of the new urban development zone. It is a question of admitting the light in heart of plot.
The offices building is aligned with the Tolbiac street, busy and noisy street, and appears as a direct sound mask for both buildings of housing inside the plot, opened on the street of Chevaleret, more quiet.
We enter inside the plot by the Tolbiac street in 6m over the street of Chevaleret. All the circulations of access in the corner of the plot allow to connect both levels. Its volume resumes the volume of the subways exit on the other side of the street.
